Yarlet Music Academy December 2011

Yarlet Music Academy has had another busy term, with more students than ever before learning a musical instrument, culminating with two spectacular performances, a Flute & Recorder Extravaganza and the Christmas Concert.  Notable highlights include performances by the Yarlet Music Academy Orchestra, the Junior & Senior Choirs and the Yarlet Music Academy Brass Ensemble, to name but a few.  A fantastic term’s progress and well done to all students who took part. We look forward to the New Year.

The Senior Choir has also enjoyed a full programme, including the Wrekin College Music Afternoon and Concert, two performances at St Mary’s, Stafford and also at Trentham Gardens, where £200 was raised for the Donna Louise Children’s Hospice Trust.    We have been delighted to introduce a Junior Choir in Main School this term and many thanks go to Mr McCourt for all his help in leading this Choir.
