YARLET VS EDENHURST - WON 18 1/2  -  7

A convincing win from the very strong under 11s team.

Yarlet opened the batting with confidence, with all of the girls striking huge hits.  Maria, Kathy and Emily all scored full rounders and Hetta scored 3!

Edenhurst went into bat but could not score due to Yarlet's fantastic fielding.  Kathy, Amelia and Beth worked hard in deep field and on posts.  Catches were made by Libby and Tyler and Emma and Antonia stumped out the opposition on bases.

Yarlet added more to their score in the second innings with Fionnuala and Libby striking huge hits and making brave runs and Maria scoring 2.

Edenhurst struggled to score at all against Yarlet's tight fielding.  They were all out on the final ball thanks to Maria's fast and accurate bowling and a superb catch, Emma and Antonia stumping on first and second bases and Tyler placing the ball in the batting square to end the match.

Final score, Yarlet 18 1/2, Edenhurst 7.
