    Winners of the French Trip photographic competition were invited to an evening at the Peter Rogers' Studio in Stafford. David Wakefield spoke to the group for an hour, illustrating how easy it is to make a good photo into an outstanding one using the technical wizadry of AC/DC or PhotoLab. Pupils received mounted copies of their winning photos in their new enhanced form. The prize winners were: Molly Jones, Thomas Ratcliffe, Matt Astbury, Archie Davidson and Abigail Jones. The first place winning photo was chosen because of its excellent composition, use of colour and its intriguing element of story-telling. What was Molly talking to India about? Abigail had focused on the natural beauty of the beach and sky at the same time leading us along the beach following the two girls engrossed in conversation. Well done to all those who entered the competition - 21 entries out of a possible 24 on the trip! A huge thank you to David for spending time with us and yet again inspiring a new group of photographers. |
