Key Stage 2 at 11+

All Form 6 pupils have sat the KS2 papers since 1998.  They attain levels in English, Mathematics and Science, the vast majority gaining Levels 4 or 5.  Our detailed results are available upon request.

Achievement of all pupils

Yarlet is proud to be a non-selective school.  Pupils of all abilities are encouraged to achieve to the best of their abilities.

Pupils with learning difficulties or disabilities receive a mainstream education along with additional lessons and individualised plans to target support.  Many go on to achieve Level 4s at KS2 and nearly all perform well at Common Entrance Examinations at 13+, providing a solid foundation for further success at GCSE and beyond.

Our most able pupils are stretched and challenged and, where appropriate, are set extremely demanding targets such as aiming for academic awards as some of the most prestigious senior schools in the country.
